MINERAL DIVISION

TALC

Introduction:

Talc is a naturally occurring mineral that is composed of hydrous magnesium silicate. It is commonly used as a filler, lubricant, and anti-caking agent in a variety of industries, including cosmetics, plastics, ceramics, paint, and paper.

In cosmetics, it is used as an ingredient in powders, blushes, and other personal care products.

In plastics, talc acts as a filler and improves the flow properties of the polymer.

In ceramics, talc is used as a glaze component, providing whiteness and translucency.

In paint, talc acts as a extender, improving the hiding power of the paint and reducing the amount of expensive pigments required.

In paper, talc acts as a filler and improves the surface properties of the paper, making it smoother and more opaque.

Our product is not classified as a hazardous substance and does not contain any components that are considered harmful to the environment. Additionally, it is stable under recommended storage conditions and has physical properties such as its light grey powder form.
